Yes, there were and will be many enlightened avatars from whom we can learn much; but why not one outstanding one? One who is 'bigger' than all the others? One who is Big, really BIG?

I have yet to see an avatar who has had the impact that Jesus has had – on individuals (like Paul and Francis of Assisi and Arthur Stace and Mary MacKillop and Mother Theresa and countless other ‘saints’, and on communities, on whole countries and civilisations, in fact, the whole world, for over 2.000 years. Just look at the number of charities that bear his name and inspiration – it is unprecedented. And have you ever seen a collection of accounts about so many miracles and healings as are recorded about Jesus?

No, this guy is big, really big.

And He does things for me that no one else can do.

It was inspiring to read your thoughts as Christ as an avatar, it is something that I have thought for a long time, but I didn't like to voice my opinion too loud ( my husband is the only one who I know I wont offend) .I was raised Catholic as was my husband, but neither of us are practising. I personally gain more inspiration looking at the sunrise over the ocean or smelling the warm breeze and listening to the unbridled joy of our children's laughter. So thank you Fr Dresser, I have always felt guilty for not believing alot of the B.S of the Catholic Church, and I have wandered if I am just deluded in thinking I am right and an institution that has been around for a few thousand yrs is wrong. I dont feel that now after reading your book. I would like to order your book as I find it easier to read the hard copy as opposed to the computer screen (showing my age) and a book is far more portable (not a good idea to bring lap top to the beach) I'm not sure how to arrange purchase, so I would appreciate if you could get back to me, via email or snail mail -:Nadia Giusti, 10 Caldwell Ave Tarrawanna. NSW 2518. Thanks Nadia ( I would love to hear you speak on this subject, are you planning on coming to Wollongong?
